I’m so excited to share the Nichols’s gorgeous Anthony Chapel Garvan Gardens wedding with you today! When Micah first laid eyes on Mary Katherine (affectionately called MK), he had no idea that a beautiful adventure was about to begin. Mary Katherine and Micah met several years ago and both attended Mississippi State University. It was love at first sight. And on a radiant fall day, their family and friends gathered in front of this thrilled Central Arkansas Wedding photographer to celebrate the moment they finally said, “I do.”
The morning was all celebration and laughter. Decked out in black silk pajamas, the bride and her bridesmaids share stories from college and shared how much they adored MK. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were filling the getting-ready space with jokes about Micah and tons of laughter. And when the last boutonniere was pinned and the last curled was sprayed, the time had arrived to head to the First look location.
Micah was a ball of tears the majority of the morning, but you could instantly tell that the moment he turned around and saw MK in her gorgeous wedding gown all nerves were gone. It was the sweetest moment I’ve ever witnessed! After the First Look, the wedding party loaded the Hot Springs Trolley to head to the ceremony venue. Micah and MK shared personal vows to each other inside of the Anthony Chapel—talk about a tear-jerker!
Escorted by her father down the aisle of the gorgeous glass chapel, MK, in her gorgeous white a-line wedding gown absolutely glowed. And her groom absolutely cried as she neared him
Under the expert guidance of the wedding coordinator, Signature Events, the talented vendors painted a beautiful scene. The romance of the floral arrangements by Ashton of Ash Floral Co was perfectly juxtaposed by more classic timeless elements, like the wedding cake, ornamented with delicate touches and designs, crafted by Debbie of Taste of Eden Bakery. The tablescape, overflowing with blooms and candles was decorated with glassware and intricate details designed by the bride herself and Laura Jones.
Surrounded by the dim lighting and heavenly scent of dinner from Coffee Central, the festivities carried well on into the night. The flash mob dance performed by the groomsmen was an absolute hit. And celebration was added on top of celebration when the bridesmaids asked the DJ to play MK’s favorite song, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston.
As the party came to a close, the crowd cheered as MK and Micah exited through sparklers to a Limo. Surrounded by friends and family, their life together as husband and wife began. I am so thrilled I was able to document MK and Micah’s big day, and I can’t wait to see where life takes them! Check out some of the photos from their breathtaking Anthony Chapel wedding and be sure to also check out their downtown Memphis Tennessee engagement session, too!
