When Mary Katherine (affectionately called MK) and Micah reached out to me inquiring about their downtown Memphis engagement session, I was struck immediately by the upbeat spirits of their upcoming wedding! But I never could have guessed how fun and easygoing they’d be in person! What is most incredible about this pair, though, is undeniably the love they have for each other.
MK and Micah met several years ago and fell in love after their first date. But on their first date, I bet they didn’t imagine they’d someday be laughing and dancing in downtown Memphis Tennessee with their wedding day on the horizon! And from everything they’ve told me about the celebration they’re planning, it’s going to take everyone’s breath away! Okay, I’ll give you a hint: they chose one of the best locations in the state of Arkansas! I can’t wait to see it all come to life!
As we took their engagement photos, daydreaming about their upcoming “I do”s The Who time, MK and Micah mentioned they were excitedly looking forward to seeing their true selves in their photos in a timeless and classic way Boy, did we ever capture exactly that! MK and Micah love laughing and just overall enjoying each other’s company. When it comes to engagement sessions, the most important thing I can do as your photographer is to create the images of your dreams, so delivering on wishes like these is so rewarding!
