Kendall and Jagger’s South Arkansas Wedding occurred at a private residence, and it was the best wedding day ever! The amount of love and the support system that they have is like no other, and I was so honored to be amongst their family and friends on their big day. When Jagger first laid eyes on Kendall, he had no idea that a beautiful adventure was about to begin. The couple is high school sweethearts. Kendall recalls their first date and riding up in the green Ford pickup truck. Their family and friends gathered in front of the camera of this thrilled South Arkansas wedding photographer to celebrate the moment they finally said, “I do.”
Getting Ready/The Ceremony
The morning was all celebration and laughter. Decked out in custom robes, the bride and her bridesmaids (and bridesman, he kept the laughter going) laughed and shared stories from their college days. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were joking about mud-riding and hunting in the man cave. Due to a severe weather threat, the last boutonniere pinned and the last curl was hair-sprayed, it was time to start portraits. As time went by, the threat and rain kept creeping closer to ceremony time.
After portraits, it was time for the ceremony. The father escorted the bride down the aisle of their private residence. Kendall, in her gorgeous wedding gown, absolutely glowed. And her groom cried tears as his bride walked toward him.
The Reception
Surrounded by magnolias from the garden and laughter from family and friends, and the smell of pulled pork wafting through the tent, the festivities carried on well into the night. The toasts from Zack was terrific as he sang an original song he wrote to the bride and groom. Kendall’s dad decided to show us all his dance moves that he had been practicing.
As the party came to a close, the crowd cheered on and enjoyed each other’s company. Surrounded by friends and family, their life together as husband and wife began. I am so thrilled I was able to document Kendall and Jagger’s big day, and I can’t wait to see where life takes them! Especially since Kendall starts medical school in August!
