Your wedding day is nearing, and I know that there are so many things competing for your time and money. Yes, Weddings are costly and can easily be considered a luxury. Where should you splurge, and where should you save money? I am no wedding planner, but I can certainly suggest some areas to splurge in when it comes to your wedding day images. These suggestions will benefit you greatly and help make your wedding day as fabulous and memorable as you are!
Your Bouquet
Splurge a little more on your bouquet & your groom-to-be’s boutonniere. The bride’s bouquet will be in a significant amount of your photos, and you must love them! It’s worth the splurge to make sure you get photos you like that look beautiful, even if you’re on a tight budget. Additionally, you can use it as decor for your cake or sweetheart table during the reception!
Your Dress
Much like your bouquet, your dress will be in each wedding day image of you! That’s a big deal! While you don’t need to blow your whole budget on it, it’s still so important to get a great dress you love!
Your Photographer
I may be a little biased about making sure you have a great photography team you love, but there are more reasons than one. After your wedding day is over, you’ll have very few reminders of your big day. Your photos will be a great reminder of every joyful, exciting memory from that day. Think of your photos as an investment in your first family heirlooms! You’ll carry these images with you the rest of your marriage and pass them down to your children and grandchildren. That’s a pretty HUGE deal! So choose wisely and don’t skimp!
A Wedding Planner
Many brides regret that they did not hire a wedding planner. Wedding planners help to relieve your stress, give insight, plan beautiful ideas, and so much more. A wedding planner will make your day easier and amazing for you! Consider hiring a day-of coordinator to help your wedding day run more smoothly–you have plenty of things to worry about on your wedding day rather than wondering if the ceremony is going to start on time!
Your Perfume
I suggest you purchase a new scent just for your wedding day. It’s an excellent detail for your photographer, and as you wear it after your wedding, it is a sweet reminder for both of you about your wedding day and why you purchased it. A pure luxury that will become a gentle way to bring back memories of your wedding day!
